The
large space and unusual architecture of the Forum at DeFoor allowed for
a zealous display of various styles of art in the same room. The forum
gallery features modern, non traditional and contemporary arts, sculptures,
drawings, photography, paining and experimental arts. The diverse mix of
represented artists combined with the unique architecture of the interior
of the building itself offers an unequaled and creative atmosphere on any
regular day, but on one night in October, The Forum transformed to an even
more magical and enchanting place.
...A
masquerade reception enhanced the Halloween weekends celebration throughout
the city. Guests dressed in lavish costumes and masks and joined us for
a fun evening of art and entertainment. The Exhibition was comprised of
a very diverse and exciting collection of Drawings...Etchings...Oil Paintings
and Mixed Media art which humorously and satirically falls on the fringe
of the edge.

Many
of the represented artists (myself included) attended the opening Masquerade
Ball, and mingled with guests.
Although
the Masquerade Ball only lasts one evening, the magic continued as the
AbraMacbre Art collection remained on display through November.
A Night
of Magic closed off with an artistic, and very dark performing arts display.
